By rail and public transport

- S-Bahn (suburban railway) to "Marienplatz" or U-Bahn (underground) U2/U1 to "Sendlinger Tor"
- Switch to U-Bahn U6 to "Garching-Forschungszentrum"
- Leave the underground station in direction "Walther-Meissner-Institut (WMI)"
From Munich Airport
By car:
- take the Autobahn A92 to Munich
- exit the A92 at "Freising-Süd"
- take the feneral highway B11 to Munich
- turn left to "Forschungsinstitute" approx. 2 km after "Dietersheim"
or:
- A92 to Munich
- switch to the Autobahn A9 to Munich at the northern highway interchange
- exit "Garching-Nord"
By public transport:
- take the suburban railway line S8 and exit in "Ismaning"
- take the bus number 230 to "Garching-Technische Universität"
